Pottery Among the Highland People of Western China
Using traditional methods, thoroughly documented here, the Dai and Wa potters of
a rural area bordering Thailand
and Burma (Myanmar) are shown making a variety
of vessels for cooking, for water storage, and for
ritual use. This set has
relevance for art history and fine arts students,
as well as anthropologists and
archaeologists.
