Jerash
Founded in Jordan during the Hellenistic period, ancient Gerasa, between the reigns of Trajan and
Hadrian (A.D. 98-138) was a member of the Decapolis and a thriving commercial city.
This set focuses mainly on the Roman settlement, with its handsome plazas,
colonnaded streets, temples, theatres and baths.
