Catal Huyuk
Partial excavations of Catal Huyuk in the 1960's revealed 14 building levels dating between 7250-6250 B.C., and of a previously unknown neolithic culture. The text updates out-of-print earlier reports. Included are site maps, excavation photos and drawings, and the artifacts now in the Ankara Museum. By James Mellaart.
